Ralf Scheepers was born on February 05, 1965 in Berkheim, Germany. He started as a vocalist and guitarist of the band "Voltage" at the age of 16 . Later he sang at "Beast of Pray" and "Heavy Magnun". Then he formed "Tyrant Pace", and recorded three albums: "Eye to Eye", "Long Live Metal" and "Watching You". Tyrant Pace was a support band to Uriah Heep. Ralf made his first contact with Kai in 1986, when he was invited to join Helloween, before Michael Kiske joined the band. In 1989 Ralf and Kai formed Gamma Ray. At the end of 1994 he left Gamma Ray after a common decision of him and the other members. In the meanwhile, Scheepers had formed a Judas Priest tribute band, in order to prepare himself for a Judas Priest audiance, which never happened. Now, joined with the "Sinner" members, he formed "Primal Fear" a band that met great success with their first album.
