Guitar Henjo Richter was born on November 24, 1963 in Hamburg, Germany. He started his musical profession at the age of 6 when he was playing the piano. After some time he started to play the acoustic guitar. He had his first band formed at the age of 13, when he got his first electric guitar. In 1982 he replaced Roland Grapow at "Rampage". He also played in other bands such as "Charon", "Mydra", "Catch" and Rainbow. He made contact with Gamma Ray when they were in need of a second guitarist for the Spanish Tour, due to the split up with Jan Rubach. |
